Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time Receives Update 2.0.4 Across Platforms

Instructions

Level-5 has rolled out a new update, Version 2.0.4, for its popular title, "Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time," available across various gaming systems including the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. This latest patch aims to enhance player experience by introducing several adjustments and rectifying existing bugs, particularly those that were unique to the Nintendo platforms.

The comprehensive update addresses a range of issues, ensuring smoother gameplay. One notable adjustment pertains to the "Remake Settings for Armor," allowing players to exchange Version 2.0.0 armor items at Don's Dreamy Deals for a remake. This provides more flexibility and customization options for players in managing their in-game gear.

A critical bug fix targets an unresponsive control issue in Snoozaland. Previously, players could experience control freezes if they interacted with a gatherable item at the precise moment a "Bam Headbang Dream" effect concluded, an event triggered by engaging with a Drowsy Mimic. This specific problem has now been resolved, preventing interruptions during gameplay.

Furthermore, the update specifically tackles several issues found exclusively on the Switch and Switch 2 versions of the game. These problems had already been rectified in the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox, and Steam editions. Among these platform-specific fixes are issues where items sometimes failed to appear in multiplayer sessions in Snoozaland after alchemy was completed while flying with Skelegon to an Alchemy Robot. Another significant fix addresses a problem in multiplayer Snoozaland where guest players could not proceed to the boss area during the "Trimming the Divine Beard" mission if the host had already acquired the Woodcutter Life, preventing collective advancement.

Additional fixes for the Switch versions include resolving an issue in the Snoozaland tutorial where time-of-day changes before defeating Tropic Toads in the first area could impede progression to the next. Also, a bug preventing event progression after opening a supply box if a field enemy's attack hit the player immediately has been corrected. Moreover, crafting sometimes initiating without a Life switch upon returning to Base Camp after collecting items in a "Bam Headbang Dream" has been patched. Lastly, an exploit allowing the Snoozaland unlock tutorial to be activated during multiplayer via specific actions, which could lead to saving progress and blocking further advancement if multiplayer ended in that state, has also been resolved.

This update follows previous major content releases, including "The Sinister Broker Bazario's Schemes" in December 2025, and precedes another significant update slated for February. Level-5 continues its commitment to refining "Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time," ensuring a continually improving and engaging adventure for all players across its diverse platforms.
